Trails are in great shape. They are all groomed and all have snow on them. It does get a little thin way down south. The highest temp this week will be today (Tues) with a high of 37 here. 24 on Wed, 35 on Thursday, Friday – 32, Saturday – 30. Then it will go back down to the teens. We have a 40% chance of snow tonight (Tues) and a chance again on the Saturday and Sunday (Christmas). Riders have been happy with the snowfall amount. It has been a great start for the season. Best it has been in quite a few years. We have gotten over 4 feet total since Nov 29th. I believe the base ranges from 12-22 inches. Some have had no problems going off trail in the trees and others say you still have to be careful. The snow is good North and South of us. I am told the meadows are good and under the power lines. You can get all the way to Deadwood and Deerfield Lake (Mt Meadow Store).
I believe the Groomers have Christmas Eve off, but they will be back out by 3 pm on Christmas Day.
We will be open Christmas Eve Day (Sat) and will be available for gas on Christmas Day until 9 am for sure. Our plan is to try to get out and ride some, so we know what the trails are like. Not sure if we will be able to do that or not. We may end up being here all day on Christmas. We were planning on having our Kitchen closed on Christmas Day. That could change as well.
Have a great Holiday Season and hope to see you out here!!
